ABOUT JOHN GRUFFYDD
John Gruffydd was born and educated in Cardiff. Although writing is in his genes (he has writers on both sides of the family and his grandfather was the renowned Welsh writer and academic, W.J. Gruffydd) he spent his working life as a lawyer in the North West of England and did not begin to write seriously until nearing retirement. His first novel “In Search of Mr Lemon” was written under the pen name of John Graham while he was still practising as a barrister.As well as pursuing his legal career he was active in politics during the 1980’s and was a Labour councillor for eight years. Since retiring he divides his time between the Wirral and Andalucia.
